Top 10 Things To Do In San Francisco Part 2
Friday, April 24, 2009 8:50 2 CommentsWell my first Top Ten Things To Do In San Francisco list was a success (I think) and I had several comments and suggestions from folks to include others so I decided to put together a part 2. In the future I’ll have several more of these Top Ten Lists as well so keep coming back to SFPhotorama for more!

San Francisco Fireworks 2000
Wednesday, April 15, 2009 14:39 No CommentsI love these flashback firework shots on the San Francisco Bay. I had captured it perfectly unprepared. This was back in 2000 sometime, I believe most likely a Summer eve and a celebration of some kind. It’s not the ballpark as that would have been more south from this view so I don’t really know what the celebration was and why the fireworks took place. It could have even been 4th of July but up in Diamond Heights where I shot this it would have been fogged it. Usually the case with 4th of July in San Francisco. Who knows though as I dig through my old photographs I dig up cool historic shots like these.
I was glad to have captured these shots though as I laid my camera down on something and set the timer on and voila these images were taken.
San Francisco Skyline 2000
Sunday, April 12, 2009 10:01 1 CommentI shot this way back in 2000 from Diamond Heights – I shot it with a Canon EOS 650 film camera. My favorite SLR back then. When I was on Blogger I had this pic as my profile pic and it was pretty popular with alot of folks as they would steal it and use it for their blogs and some folks even used it on their commercial sites. I hated that when they did that and didn’t give credit for where the pic came from. That bugs me big time. Come on folks at least give a fucking credit to where the pic comes from???
Like here’s one where some website has taken my pic and uploaded it to their Website without any credit whatsoever!

Oh here’s another damn site that uses my photo. God damnit folks give credit!

How do you stop these folks? The website above even has this disclaimer on their site

property laws and may not be redistributed either in whole or in part without the express written consent of National Transport LLC.
Does that include my picture too?
Anyway besides that this San Francisco skyline picture is one of my favorite pictures I have shot. It’s from way up in Diamond Heights at the Diamond Heights Apartments while the view was not fogged in. If you have friends that live up there you can get this great shot too. Just be prepared that the fog does come in and take over the entire city but when there’s no fog this is what you get.
San Francisco City View From Fort Point
Saturday, September 27, 2008 22:36 No Comments
Here’s a pretty view of the San Francisco skyline from the parking lot of Fort Point. The weather was not too warm when I shot this so this picture turned out quite cool and crisp. I had to add a little warmth to it. San Francisco looks beautiful from far away and all the buildings including the Transamerica Building seem so small compared to when you’re standing right below it.
Either way San Francisco is still one of the most beautiful cities in the world and this shot proves it really is.
Sunset On San Francisco Circa 2000
Sunday, June 1, 2008 0:39 No CommentsI shot this picture sometime back in 2000 and just ran across it. I love the reddish tone of the sky and the cloud covering combined in the late afternoon sunset skylight.
