I think the new Cliff House is just beautiful. I love the design since it looks like it could have been built back in the early 1900’s but with a very modern style. I love the sign. I especially love the sign at the Cliff House. I especially love the new Cliff House building when the sun is shining right on it. It makes for perfect photos against the bright blue sky.

The Cliff House is located at 1090 Point Lobos Avenue. You can take the 38 bus from downtown near Union Square or Market street near Montgomery Streets. It’s about a 30 – 45 minute ride but worth it on a sunny day. It’s nice to go and sit at the bar at Sutro’s or dine in the restaurant. It’s very popular so I would probably make a reservation.

It’s nice to head over to B Restaurant at Yerba Buena Gardens on a warm late afternoon early evening and have a pitcher of Sangria. Sometimes it tastes better than other times. I’ve had good ones and some really bitter ones but still the ambiance is nice but only on a warm day. On cold days skip the sangria and have a glass of hearty red wine. But it’s nice most of the time when the sangria tastes good. The sangria is part of their happy hour menu it’s quite a nice deal about 9 bucks for a pitcher and it gives you 2 1/2 glasses. So it’s a nice value.

Affogato At Il Fornaio … I love it and it’s some of the best I’ve ever had anywhere. It’s nice to sit at the bar at Il Fornaio and rather than have beer, wine or cocktails why not have a dessert? They can serve the affogato right at the bar so do it as it’s the best.

San Francisco 4th of July Photos

I’ve always loved Mo’s burgers for their burgers but on a recent trip to North Beach we had late lunch early dinner there and I was not really impressed. I’m totally into fries and love them to be perfect but unfortunately it seemed like my fries had been sitting around way too long and I was served reheated really crispy hard fries. Not good.

i love my fries to be soft and not too crispy. I even asked the woman to make sure my fries were not too crispy but I got hard old fries.

It spoiled the rest of the dinner unfortunately. The burger was still pretty good but damn if it’s not all good then it’s all bad. You know?

Mo’s Burgers is located at 1322 Grant Ave right in North Beach. if you’re visiting San Francisco and happen to be in North Beach but are not in the mood for Italian or even Chinese Food then stop in to Mo’s.

Was told by a friend that we have to try AK Subs Fish And Chips. After several months of being told to try it we decided to actually try it. Went to AK Subs and from first sight of the place I could tell it was not really my kind of place but we decided to give it a try anyway to see how things will be. And hey I was really looking forward to having Fish And Chips as I was craving it for a while. So they called our names and we went and picked up our Fish And Chips and brought it to our table.

At frist glance (picture above) it looked quite good and it was quite steamy as it had just gotten fried! Yum!

I ate a bit and realized it was going to be perfect! Second bit great. Third bite good. Then after the third bite it started wearing on me and not tasting good anymore. It was a bit too intense and I could start tasting the deep fried oil. After a while and almost finishing the first of three pieces of fish I was already very overwhelmed with the Fish And Chips and I couldn’t take it anymore. It was pretty bad.

It turned out I am not the biggest fan of the Fish And Chips and I’ve had enough! I’ll try some other items from AK Subs but I’ll skip the Fish And Chips next time. I’ll save it for my trip to London!
