This is the sign for an old Italian Cafe from the 60s, La Pantera Cafe in North Beach in San Francisco. I love historic signs and this is definitely worth capturing before it’s torn down.

Spotted Francis Ford Coppola the awesome director of the awesome Tetro at Cafe Zoetrope recently in North Beach. He seemed busy and preoccupied with something so snapped some San Francisco pictures of him and moved on. I could have gotten close and asked to take a pic together but why bother the guy! This pic turned out just fine!

One of my favorite chocolates around XOX Truffles is always a quick fun stop in North Beach. The truffles are a good deal and I usually get six or so and maybe take them into a movie or just eat it after dinner or something.

XOX Truffles is right at 754 Columbus Ave. Just before you get into the heart of North Beach if you are driving/walking from Fisherman’s Wharf area. It’s perfect to stop in and get some for after dinner.

My favorite flavor is Caramel. Hands down it’s the best flavor although I have not tried the liquor flavors because I don’t really care for the liquor flavors. There are many other flavors too that you should definitely try.
