Lillet Blanc In San Francisco
I guess Lillet Blanc is making a comeback! I see all these great ads all over San Francisco. One of my favorite wine apertifs, Lillet Blanc is nice on the rocks with a lemon or orange twist. I”m really happy to see that it’s making a nice comeback especially with these ads.
Market Street – Take A Bite Out Of Crime!
I love this neon sign. This is an adults only theatre/store located on Market Street and 7th streets near Civic Center. At night the neon glows bright and red.
Strand Theatre Closed!
Closed for good in 2003 it was the last remaining theater on Market Street to show movies. Well from 1994 – 2003 it showed pornographic videos projected but the Strand Theater had a better start in 1916 as part of the Grauman chain. Unfortunately the building just sits shut down as you see in the photo here right across from Civic Center.
