Bay Bridge From Hotel Griffon
The view from the Hotel Griffon is quite nice as long as you have a room that faces the Bay Bridge. Oh you also have to make sure your weathe is nice. If it’s overcast then maybe wait for the weather to be better or just enjoy the overcast pictures. Make sure at least have good camera. I love the way these pictures of the Hotel Griffon turned out even though you can see how overcast it is.
Check out all the photos of the Bay Bridge here on SFPhotorama.com at this link:
Or you can go directly to Bay Bridge At Night In The Rain Framed.
Or even these two Bay Bridge pics at Sunrise.
Enjoy!
The Embarcadero At Night
This shot is looking out the window at the Hotel Griffon to the left at the Ferry Building which is not in this shot and of course the traffic and lights on the Embarcadero. I love this shot as I love the whole yellow tone of the street and cars etc. I love night time shots as the pictures turn out really dramatic and here it’s definitely obvious this picture turned out dramatic.
Again you can see how not clear it is in this shot of the Embarcadero as it isn’t very crisp but luckily I had my small pocket tripod to install my camera on and snap these pictures of the Embarcadero, Bay Bridge and the Ferry Building.
I like how the palm trees line the entire length of the Embarcadero and how they came out in this pic. It almost feels like it’s somewhere in the desert.
I would recommend everyone to stay at the Hotel Griffon just for this beautiful view. I had always wanted to stay down there just to get these shots and finally I did and the shots turned out quite nicely!
Bay Bridge At Night
I love the Bay Bridge and I try and take as many shots of it as I can trying to capture it in all different kinds of lights. I happened to be staying at the Hotel Griffon over the weekend and made sure to get a room with a nice view of the Bay Bridge and so that I can set up a tripod and take as many pictures of the bridge as I can. Unfortunately though we were not having the greatest weather. It was overcast on Sunday and so it was not crisp and clear. But I managed to get these shots of the Bay Bridge on Sunday night.
I shot these long exposure at 4 second exposure each picture and they turned out pretty darn good. You think? Please let me know what you think of these shots.
