Without it I think San Francisco would look naked. It’s the first thing you see from the Bay Bridge and you know you are coming into San Francisco the most wonderful and exciting city in the country.

The Ferry Building and the clock tower is a landmark for the city and it’s beautiful to photograph. I shot this from Pier One.

I shot this at Pier One which is right next to the Ferry Building. It’s a pretty nice walk if you haven’t been to Pier One and you can very nice angles and able to take great shots of the Bay Bridge and the Ferry Building. It’s definitely worth exploring Pier One if you’re from out of town. And do bring a camera as you’ll snapping tons of pics along the way as there’s lots to see.

I do like the way this picture turned out. The lighting was overcast and the sun was just breaking out so it’s made kind of mysterious. Don’t you think?

All the best and greatest food choices available on Saturdays during the Farmers Market. I think the Ferry Building is one of the best things that’s happened to San Francisco. Some of my favorite stops there are Cowgirl Creamery, Acme Bread Company, Peets Coffee (although I just noticed Blue Bottle Coffee there now) and Ciao Bella gelato.

I shot these three shots from the window at the Hotel Griffon. These were exposed for 3 seconds each on a tripod. I haven’t used an SLR camera for quite sometime now and I was lucky enough to get great shots with my Canon G10 camera.

I really recommend that camera for anyone that wants almost an SLR but doesn’t want the big bulk of an SLR to carry around with them.

I love this shot as I love the whole yellow tone of the street and cars etc. I love night time shots as the pictures turn out really dramatic and here it’s definitely obvious this picture turned out dramatic.

Again you can see how not clear it is in this shot of the Embarcadero as it isn’t very crisp but luckily I had my small pocket tripod to install my camera on and snap these pictures of the Embarcadero, Bay Bridge and the Ferry Building.

I like how the palm trees line the entire length of the Embarcadero and how they came out in this pic. It almost feels like it’s somewhere in the desert.

I would recommend everyone to stay at the Hotel Griffon just for this beautiful view. I had always wanted to stay down there just to get these shots and finally I did and the shots turned out quite nicely!

The ferry ride back from Alameda is definitely fun and you get to see some great views of San Francisco. Make sure you pick nice sunny day so your photos come out beautiful. I snapped these up after a bike ride in Alameda. Although it was sunny in Alameda as we were approaching San Francisco it was looking darker and darker.

You’ll definitely get some great photos of the Bay Bridge as you go right under it.

Breakfast at Mijita is such a fun thing for me … especially on a Saturday morning! Buy a hot cappuccino from Peets coffee and go right across the way to Mijita and have Chilaquiles. Oh so yum! I think I’ve only had breakfast at Mijita and each time I have breakfast I order the Chilaquiles. I think it’s the best that I’ve had. So next time you are at the Ferry Building why don’t you go hungry in the morning and order yourself the Chilaquiles and eat it all up.
