Here’s a group of photos from tonight’s crowd at and near Pier 39 gathering for the San Francisco 4th Of July Fireworks show. It was pretty packed but it seemed it wasn’t as packed as it was in previous years. It was a fun experience though – cold as usual.

I love this … although it’s a longer exposure and the the fireworks seem a bit too soft but I love the colors and how colorful they are. These are the types of photos I love shooting at the San Francisco 4th Of July Fireworks.

I saw so many cameras in the hands of the visitors at the San Francisco 4th Of July Fireworks at Pier 39 but I also saw that most folks were using a flash. I’m sorry to say the pics are going to turn out pretty bad. This picture turned out quite nice too of the San Francisco 4th of July Fireworks this year.

Here’s a third picture of the fireworks in San Francisco this year. I shot these pics just outside of the Pier 39 area. It was way, way crowded so makes shooting complicated. You have tons of bodies and heads right in front of you and most of them are not standing still but moving around not actually enjoying the fireworks so it makes it tough. I made the best of the situation and made sure I got these pics.
