What is Maple Hall? When you look at the very top of the Walgreens building at 1524 Polk Street you’ll see Maple Hall. I’ve been researching about Maple Hall online and the only thing I found was a thread on a forum mentioning that Polk Street had dance halls back in the day. There’s also an article below that mentions jazz pioneer Jelly Roll Morton used to perform at Maple Hall on Polk street. I’m very curious to know what the inside of 1524 Polk street looked like before it was Walgreens. If anyone knows would love to find out.
