In no way am I endorsing the Church Of Scientology here so I wanted to put that out there first. But I what I wanted to write is that I recently was walking past their building in North Beach at 701 New Montgomery and I was really impressed at what a darn beautiful piece of architecture they get to call home!!
I don’t know much about the history of this beautiful building but it was certainly worth photographing to show everyone that visits SFPhotorama.com how beautiful the Church Of Scientology building was here in San Francisco.
What do you think? Anyone know any history about this building? Would love to know about it.

It’s the original TransAmerica buidling. All four floors including basement were totally renovated and are just as immaculate as the first floor.
The have some early photos with horse drawn carriages parked in front of the building posted on the wall inside the side entrance.
