Carnelian Room San Francisco City Views

Recently I discovered the Carnelian Room for the first time and I’m so damn impressed by the view that I’ve already gone back a couple of times. Isn’t that crazy? I absolutely love it actually. It’s some of the best views you can get anywhere in the beautiful city of San Francisco. Trust me I’ve been to all and this is pretty damn amazing.

Ok the decor is a bit tired – you can’t help that it’s a classic place that’s been around for quite some time now but you can’t go wrong with the view. The View Lounge is open daily from 3pm Monday through Sunday. After work cocktails sounds good especially to catch some nice sunsets.

The Carnelian Room also offers fine dining! According to their website their menus start from $34 per person for lunch and $61 per person for dinner. There are several rooms you can dine in according to their website. The rooms are:

The Main Dining Room: Views of Bay Bridge, Treasure Island, Alcatraz, and the East Bay hills
The Bay Room: Views of the Bay Bridge, East Bay, ATT Park and San Jose
The Wine Room: Views of Bay Bridge, the East Bay and Financial District

There are several other rooms all available for private parties. Sounds like business can reserve those rooms for a great Christmas party or other similar event.

I totally recommend visiting the Carnelian Room at least once. It’s awesome and the servers are great. Cocktails are yummy – not too overpriced either. Man where the hell have I been that I have not gone to the Carnelian Room? I’ve lived in San Francisco for over 15 years and have missed.

So I know I’ll be a frequent visitor now!

Check out their website for more info about them!
